Love this! I got this because my friend fell sick not too long ago, I used this for the first time and luckily they didn’t have a fever, but was still hot. I even used it on myself a couple of times because of how hot I felt and had a headache. The brightness is good and easy to read. The only noise is when it keeps to let you know that it read your temperature and it’s not that loud. The size is great for you to store it anywhere! It works really well! I don’t know about the orange and red lighting because no one’s fever has gone up that high yet, but the green light is nice and bright!

I bought this after my last forehead thermometer failed after 20 years. That one required you to rub it along the forehead, so I appreciate how this one can take an accurate reading without touching anything. The only issue is that the instructions say to be careful that nothing touches the lens. My old thermometer had a plastic cover over the sensor that protected it when it wasn’t being used. This one has nothing, so the apparently ultra-delicate sensor is unprotected. So I’m keeping it in the box it came in, which isn’t ideal.
